Kilsyth Cricket Club is seeking expressions of interest for the services of a Senior Women’s Captain Coach (or Coach) for season 2022/23. In just our second season, the 2021/22 season was a successful one with our Women’s XI reaching the semi-final in the RDCA competition. Women’s cricket is presently in an exciting phase, experiencing huge growth with a body of young, talented cricketers with a desire to learn, improve and develop into successful players.

Kilsyth Cricket Club fields six senior men’s, one senior women’s and four junior teams and a Woolworths Blast Program and has a long and proud history being founded in 1919 and competing continuously in the RDCA since 1922. The Club has excellent playing, training and social facilities, including recently upgraded nets and a bowling machine.

We are seeking a person:
• Who has a strong desire to lead and support girls and women to maximise their potential.
• Who is able to develop and implement a successful coaching/training program.
• With strong inter person and communication skills.
• Who has the ability to lead and develop a team to achieve success.
• With experience in a high performance environment.
• Who has at least a Level 1 Cricket Australia coaching accreditation which is compulsory (if necessary this can be arranged for the chosen candidate) and current Working with Children’s card (this can be arranged).
• Who has the ability and desire to impart their knowledge of technical and in play strategies.

In your role, you will:
• Be responsible for the development and implementation of a coaching program designed to educate the playing skills of the squad.
• Employ your strong communication skills to fully inform players and committee of progress and actions required throughout the year.
• Assist with recruitment of new players, the development of players and the promotion of women’s cricket generally.

You will be supported by a very strong administration off the field and the successful applicant will be appropriately remunerated for their experience (to be negotiated).

All applications, expressions of interest and enquiries are welcome and will be treated with the strictest of confidence, as always.

Interested applicants should apply by 12 June 2022, to:
